A sensible toy?

This morning I went to see granddaughter playing in a football tournament for  Chelsea under 9’s against Oxford at the Chelsea training ground in Cobham. It’s the first time I’ve been there and it is a huge area where both the men and women’s teams have pitches and lots of facilities. There is currently work going on to make even more pitches and buildings. She did very well particularly as I think she is the youngest and the smallest! Lots of security, your car reg has to be sent the day before.

Still a blustery cold and rainy day so have done a bit of clearing out of a cupboard…found this very old ‘toy’ from my childhood. I like the labelling…a sensible toy! It is very basic compared to all the gadgets and battery operated things imported from China these days. This was actually made in England and the stencil is made of very strong plastic. What do I do with it?!
