Garden Life

I didn’t work today, but visited my mother and her carers, went shopping, and spent time in the garden, weeding, tying up tomato plants to secure them before the forecast storms, and watching the bumble bees in the last flowers of our peony. 

The main blip collage shows a busy buff-tailed bumblebee collecting peony pollen. The extra is Mrs Redstart waiting for me to leave the carport, so that she can feed her three always hungry chicks that hatched about a week ago.
