Iris foetidissima

A "valuable, majestic, highly unusual iris" according to one online nursery listing, I've always been fascinated by the flowers of the 'Stinking Iris' or 'Stinking Gladwyn' (Iris foetidissima), and am glad they have made themselves at home, reproducing prolifically in the semi-wild bits of our back garden.
