Walking with Flowers

Quendale Beach

A blustery high tide walk on the beach this morning with a return through the dunes where we saw a goodly number of crimson early marsh-orchids, a common sub-species in South Mainland, but the first time we’ve seen them there. This will be my last Shetland blip for a few weeks as I’m on the boat tonight for some necessary tasks down south.
