A pendant

This beautiful pendant was a gift from my colleagues on the occasion of my retirement. It is made of dichroic glass, a type of glass that contains multiple layers of metal oxides, designed to reflect certain wavelengths of light while allowing others to pass through. As a result, dichroic glass appears to change colour when viewed from different angles. It's a lovely thing and all the photos I took of it looked very different. 

The part at top right is silver.
