Emergency Blip

It's nice to go away, but it's always good to come home again. But there is always the aftermath of washing and ironing. This evening there was rather a lot, apart from my shirts there was a load of the girls school clothes, skirts, dresses, cardigans. They are currently on half term so everything is nice and crisp for their return next Monday. Marlane usually does the ironing but I felt it was my turn today. The steam iron makes it very much easier too. It's one of those with a reservoir and the steam is fed to the iron via a thick tube.
We've had trouble finding spray starch lately, tried a few shops including B&M and The Range apart from supermarkets. Marlane found it on-line and got me a box of half a dozen cans. I do like my shirts starched, always look smarter as well as feeling lovely when you put them on.
Well, it's now almost 23:00 and I'm off to sleep
