Breezy Day

It’s been a rather wild windy day but it has been warm and sunny at times too. I continued working in the front garden this morning, pruning back three choisya bushes which have grown very large since they were planted seven years ago. Then I walked Merlin in the meadow. He’s still finding his feet after being away and wanted to also walk our regular loop through the village up to the recreation ground. Perhaps he felt he needed to check his patch so he could then rest. He is certainly enjoying the comforts of home and has spent much of the day asleep and gently snoring. Andy has been playing golf all day so is also now suitably tired and asleep next to Merlin. What a pair.
