Camper
We all got up early and I drove our visitor and Julian to the start of the half-marathon. Back home, I walked Django, then left again o pick Julian up from the finish. I parked well way but it was nevertheless extremely busy and i took a long time to get to the finish - there I found out that Julian had decided to drop out. He was fine about it - he knew he could have done it but not well, and saw little point in it.
Back home we had a little rest and a quick lunch, then left again - this time to Kilmarnock where I was viewing a small (and very cheap) micro-camper. A friend of mine who knows a lot about cars thought that it was a really good deal and when we got there, it was clear that the guy had taken really good care of his car, he had all the receipt etc... He had a lot of adventures in it - last year he spent 95 nights in it and finished his 4th round of the Munros! I ended up buying. He gave it a wee pat as I was driving off. Hopefully I will also have many adventures in it..
