A Steamy Train

I walked with H this morning at Sheringham Park, it was very busy and the overflow car park was already in use. There are so many tourists around at the moment. with lots of 'Chelsea Tractors' trying to drive on the narrow country roads! As usual, we took our tea break at Weybourne station and we saw three steam engines and a diesel whilst we were there. As it's mono Monday, I couldn't resist a steamy train photo. This is the 100 year old engine No. 13809 which was built by Robert Stephenson & Co to haul heavy goods trains until it left service in 1964. She was saved in 1975, which coincidentally is the same year that the North Norfolk railway reopened. We also saw the new steam locomotive 80080. We were delighted to see some Morris dancers entertaining passengers on the opposite platform, they were travelling between all three stations on the line. I've added a collage as an Extra. This afternoon I've been watching the French Open.
