At the Park

Beautiful sunlight peeking through the trees on our walk today. We picked paths that had shade because it is hot and very humid (heavy, moist air). Summer has arrived and the heat is usually steady through September. 

We are planning a trip to Wolfe Island, Ontario in July, which will be a nice break as it's usually 10 degrees cooler in Canada. Wolfe Island is a lovely, rural, farming island where Steve's grandmother was born. Every summer his large family visits from far and wide. There's the original house where she was born and other cottages belonging to different sets of families, all on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Heaven on Earth!
