More Shakespeare today but away from the books this time and an excellent setting for a jovial performance of The Tempest. The beach next to Hopetoun House was an inspired choice of stage as we moved from one spot to the next along with the actors, who were not adverse to showering the audience in sand. It was great to hear the words I've been studying come to life in performance and the outdoor venue added to the experience, they even managed to conjure some rain to accompany the opening Tempest!
