The Runaway Hen!

Our chickens are very free range and tend to roam the whole village; still returning back to their trusty little hutch each night. But last night, one of the hens did not return and must have slept goodness knows where! Anyway, she returned this morning, clucking about as usual (though not looking her best). As I watched her roam about in the garden this afternoon, I managed to catch one of the other hens having a drink, and I always think there is something quite elegant about birds drinking- yes even chickens!
