Cairnsmore of Carsphairn
We went up Beninner and Cairnsmore of Carsphairn today in lovely sunny weather. They were our last Donald Top and Donald. Like the Munros it took a long time, nearly 44 years after our first one which was Curleywee, also in Galloway. There are a lot of good hills and some not so good, but these were excellent and a fitting end point. The blip is a panorama from the top, of the Trig Point with the Galloway hills behind. The extra is of 2 people who regularly come up to survey the moths and butterflies.
Best on black.
Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is Cotton Grass.
