Up and out early, caught the bus to West Wittering. As a child the bus ride seemed to last for hours, turns out it's actually about 15 minutes.

It was quite overcast, and windy enough to give me ear ache. We had a long walk around the dunes, then a coffee and muffin in the Beach Cafe as a reward. The sun had come out by the time we finished, so we walked to East Wittering for lunch and a charity shop sesh. Got the bus back to Chichester, had another coffee, bought a jumper.


I got the train back home just after 6. I've been on the verge of falling asleep most of the afternoon, but managed to make it all the way home without incident (waking up in Manchester was a fear).
