Cherry blossoms
One of the streets here in Dartmouth has a row of Japanese flowering cherries. There is a park and a cemetery on the other side of the trees. It is a favorite spot for photographers and people wanting to see them. It was a rainy day so there were no other people around when I stopped to get a few photos.
Brunch this morning, then I had to meet with a contractor at a job to get him to give me a quote on removing some soil. With the bridge closure it makes a mess of traffic trying to get around the city. When I went to brunch I took the new Burnside connector to get to the 102, then in the 102 to Bayers Lake where the restaurant is. That went well, there was some traffic, but it was moving at highway speeds. Coming back, I was closer to the MacDonald Bridge, so I decided to try getting across it. Surprisingly it went well, it was more like rush hour traffic, but it was moving. Unlike about 6 weeks ago when the bridge was closed and traffic was at a standstill for a couple of hours.
I had a meeting with another new customer today, house # 5 on the same street. We will start the cleanup there this week. Plus I emailed a quote to another customer that I met with on Wednesday and she gave me the go ahead. It will be a one time job.
Now I have to hope we can fit 4 days of work into 3 day this week. We will be working longer days. And I still have 5 others that should be done this week, but if it does rain on Friday, they will have to be delayed till next week.
