How many years?

I am not saying how many years it is since I was in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, but today my brother and I went back to see it at last.
We lived here for several years while we were teenagers, and we remember singing in the church choir, visiting the Merlin's Cave pub (after choir practice so my mother allowed me to go), making friends with a lovely family from the USA, and many other events.
We were surprised at how many shops are now thriving in the village! Post Office, butcher, greengrocer, hairdressers, boutique, florist, to name a few !
