Let out in to the environment

Three of us were let out of the office today.

We had the opportunity to spend a day with an Environment Officer and join him on his site inspections. Suited and booted we visited numerous Yorkshire Water sites. We went mostly to small Wastewater Treatment Works that served 250 maximum population. They were hidden away in rural locations, down tracks and through fields so it was definitely a change of scene for us.

The air wasn't always fresh or the view all that pleasant but we had a good time. It was different, informative and very interesting. A good day!
