1200hp of raw steam power driving the paddles on the PS Waverley as she steam from Carbost (Skye) back to Kyle of Localsh on the mainland.

Superb sunny weather changed once we reached Skye to the more classic west coast rain, but at least the seas have remained calm. Certainly the Highlands are desperately in need of rain after the dryest spring in years.
