Armenia

We set off for the border at 8am and we're in Armenia before 10.30. Haghpat Monastery is our first stop with it's buildings dating from 10th to 13th century.


In Vanadzor we visit a master craftsman who has been creating khachkars (cross stones) for almost half a century.

Our journey to Dilijan takes us through some lovely snow capped mountain scenery. In Dilijan we visit Sharambeyan Street. The Old Dilijan complex was built in 2004 with everything being recreated as accurately as possible.
