Bill and Ben

Some years ago when we were clearing my Dad’s flat, I brought home one of his garden ornaments, a painted terracotta flowerpot man. It reminded me of the childhood programme on TV - Bill and Ben (If you’re of a certain age you’ll know).

It came with us up to Saltburn even though it was a bit worse for wear.

Faffing around in the garden today I was asked to glue one of Callum’s alpine pots which had a chip in the rim and a crack down the side (top right of picture) so I thought I’d sort out the flower pot man. I ended up using the base for his boots, his hat and body as small alpine pots and just left his legs dangling on a wire!

The two broken arm parts have still not been thrown away.

Anyway, I thought it would do for derelict Sunday.  Thanks for hosting DS Marlieske :-)
