Flags in the forest

After 6+ weeks of grant writing I finally had time to go back into the forest properly. It was good to be back! Over the months I have marked 139 ants nests with these little flags and today I went to have a look at 106 of them again. Very nice to see how much the forest changed over the time, and also how I changed, and Marten. We are so much more used to living here than when I planted flag M05....Goodbye Millbrook, it's time for a new step! PS my apologies for the bad quality picture, I only had a video camera with me...
