After & Before

I walked from Blakeney with B, JohnRH & W this morning.  There was quite a strong wind anyway, then just as we started the walk the sky came over rather black and then we had periods of wind-driven rain.  Unfortunately, this was just as we were on the most exposed part of the walk, out on the marshes between Blakeney Quay and Cley. (See extra).

We battled on and rewarded ourselves with a coffee at the Wiveton Hall Cafe.  When we emerged to continue the last leg of the walk back towards Blakeney, the sun had emerged and most of the clouds had disappeared and it all looked rather splendid.

After lunch M and I settled down to watch the F1 Grand Prix from Monaco.  Despite the organiser's experiment of adding two compulsory tyre changes during the race, it was rather uninspiring and more about team strategy and tyre changes than the skill of the drivers. I doubt they'll repeat that exercise next year.  We liked the result though.
