Something Sad

Happened here – if this bouquet of flowers is anything to go by.

Walking on the promenade at West Bay after Sunday Mass, we had a fresh breeze but some blue sky and cheering light.  I had a chortle (less impolite than a snigger, I feel) at a chap who inflated a paddle board and tried to use it for surfing, only to be blown down the beach in the offshore breeze.  He clearly hadn't watched much of the RNLI programme, Saving Lives at Sea . . .
