What was it about this spring that made our little apricot tree suddenly to produce fruit? This is the first time in at least fifteen years that the tree has produced fruit. It was such a surprise to spot the little apricots and I counted twenty-six of them. They are colouring up well but are still very firmly attached so I guess they are not ripe yet, I just hope my thieving squirrels don’t have a taste for them.
