Female Tufted Duck
After work yesterday the BA birders dashed to the Barnes Wetland Centre for an hour or two of birdwatching. It was fairly quiet, the most notable sightings being of the breeding Shovelers, some Gadwall and three Snipes. Most things were too far away to photograph properly, but this Tufted Duck was relatively confiding.
