Supergrandad
As the SK was off birrling down to meet up with Rachel at Smeaton, I loaded up the garden bags to take to the dump. It was mobbed – all this sunshine is causing our gardens to be overwhelmed by … plant growth. Another consequence of climate change, I’ll warrant. If only we could eat this green stuff. Maybe I need to get me a goat.
Then I was whistled up to pick up the winkles with the daughter. What fun we did have – and good long chats with the daughter. This competitive swing pushing gets a bit tiring, though I did pick up a couple of coffees from Jac’s coffee wagon. And some time after that I realised how far-sighted the Victorians were always building public conveniences in their parks.
