At the Home of Geography

Down to the Royal Geographical Society on an early train today for the launch event of a new set of resources for Discovering the Arctic. Started with a meeting in the Tea Room - accessible to members and Fellows, which is pictured here. Launch event included representatives from several embassies and Arctic Council members. Lunch, chatted to guy from Japanese embassy, then down to see a display of Arctic artefacts from the RGS collections. Out and back to get the train home which was actually on time for once. A good day.
