Starlings

Today it was the Starlings who were acting strangely.  This past month is the first time Starlings have come into my garden. I'm not sure if this is a mother and chick or a male and female.  The one on the right - the shiny one, I have seen a few of over the past weeks.  Today the shiny one was going frantic gobbling up lots of food from the feeder then it flew down to the ground where this larger one was waiting and the shiny one was passing lots of seeds into its open beak.  It can't be a chick as it's larger than the shiny one and doesn't look like a Starling at all, but it remained on the ground while the shiny one brought it food from the feeders.
