woke to a severe migraine - so not much gumption - for anything at all - going through my box - of coloring projects - this simple one uncompleted - impacted me both because of - its simplicity and due to - its actual message - one i grew up with - you know it, right -

‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’

come to find out - that saying known as an ‘aphorism’ - originated in wales - in 1866 in a publication - but it read more- as a rhyme like this

‘eat an apple on going to bed and you'll keep the doctor from earning his bread.’

the saying reappeared - in 1913 in its current - format as we know it - and has been going - strong ever since - i suppose simplicity has - its place and can - always lead us to…
