Trip out

Hockney fans will no doubt know where today's photo was taken. My birthday today, and P & B very kindly offered to take me out to lunch. We went to Salts Mill and as there was a very long queue for Salts Diner we went upstairs to the Cafe in to the Opera. It was also less noisy in there and we had a very nice lunch. A lovely way to spend a few hours :-). Back home I opened a box of flowers delivered earlier and they were from my grandchildren. My son came home with flowers and champagne. Then my daughter and grandson visited and I received "walking accessories" including socks and a "Chilly's" water bottle. Apparently there is something else to follow as it hadn't arrived in time. Also got a "to do list" pad featuring highland cows as my daughter knows that I love them :-). Taking the family out for a meal at Galo's tomorrow so more fun to come.
