To the museum

Well, there actually were two museums, since we have a museum card and the first appeared to be very small.
The first one was the Couven museum, in which we looked at a collection of perfume bottles, several period rooms in various styles, as well as a historic pharmacy, kitchen and two tiled rooms. 
But we had time to browse the bookshelves in Mayerse, bought the book Tyll by Daniël Kehlmann and had lunch in the small café.
After lunch we visited the Centre Charlemagne and delved into all information about the International Charlemagne Prize of the City of Aachen. Next Thursday it will be Ursula von der Leyen's honour to receive the award.
And then we were tired and it was time to take the bus home. We had a nice relaxing day.
