Rheinland-Pfalz-Tag 2025

After Ibuprofen for breakfast I was ready to travel to Neustadt an der Weinstraße, where my states Rheinland-Pfalz-Tag took place this year. It's a 3-day-event every other year in different cities/locations in my state Rhineland-Palatinate.

I spent most of my afternoon in the little backyards of the old town (Altstadt), where local artists had exhibitions in the most wonderful surroundings.

To mention is that I ran into our head of state, Ministerpräsident Alexander Schweitzer. I happened to walk by a booth he was about to leave, and we bumped into each other. He is a really tall man with 2,06 m, and he kept apologising that he didn't mean to run me over, but it was just as much my fault. We had body contact, and I wondered later where his security was (or if he had any). Luckily, I don't carry knives around with me.
Funny as it is, I remember coming across our then Ministerpräsidentin Malu Dreyer in Ramstein, where  the event took place ten years ago.

I added a few extras, not the best quality, but hey, I was too busy looking. 

If the pain isn't too bad tomorrow, I might go again.
