No Scaff

For the last few months this house has been covered in scaffolding. Yesterday it came down and now you can see the front again without the scaffolding. The new owners of the house have had all the horrible render removed and have started the painfully expensive process of having the stone wall restored properly. All the brickwork around the window was rotten, and all the bricks are new - which was amusing to watch - and one prop is still in place. Quite a bit of this side still needs work and both gables too. I'm wondering if they can't afford to have the scaffold in place if no work is going on - it must be costing thousands to do this work.

The green to the right of the blip was a garage - which they have converted to a bike store - it was a bit short to put a modern car in anyway. It's nice to see younger people move in, and even better when they aren't petrol heads.
