Ants even in the rain.

So good to have had some rain in the night. However, the rain didn’t seem to put the ants off as they love the nectar that is produced by the buds and,  in turn, they protect the plant from other insects that may cause damage to the buds. I was hoping for some more rain during the day but it’s just been overcast and breezy.
