I did BP first thing and the class was really busy.  I quickly checked the app and realised I hadn't booked!  I did mention this to the instructor but she didn't seem bothered?  Funny lady - so full of herself...but people seem to like it as the class is always full.

I was going to S for coffee at 11.00 so didn't bother getting changed and just did a few errands on the way there.  She is living in a rental house while their own house is repaired (almost rebuilt!!) following flooding incident earlier in the year.  The rental is a new property but spacious and she said 'easy to clean'.  I found myself becoming weary of the mundane conversation about the minor tribulations of her life in view of everything we have gone through over the last few years.  Another 'talker' with details of friends and friends of friends who I have not met or don't know.  Maybe it's me?!

Home for lunch in the sunshine and an afternoon finishing off some more sewing and trying to get through Hand Maid's Tale.  Another series which started well but is a bit over long?  

OH home tonight and pleased that he has had a lovely time and weather and golf all been good.

My picture today is of Oriental poppies.  I had one plant a few years ago but collected and sewed seeds and now have lots of plants!  Think this one is called Ladybird - wonderful plant but flowers are short lived.
