It’s All Relative

Once again, Paula and I would like to thank you beautiful Blippers for your love and support. The outpouring of joy at our marriage has given us a massive boost as we face so much uncertainty about my health.

My mum wasn’t able to travel up north for the wedding so we decided to make a trip down south this weekend to stage a second ceremony and re-exchange our vows with my mum in attendance, along with my brother Rocknerd’s lovely other half (LOH), who was on childcare duties on our wedding day and had to miss out on the celebrations.

This arrangement also provided an opportunity for my mum to meet Paula’s parents for the first time (video calls notwithstanding). So we rented a lovely beach house and got dressed up again!

Aside from all the celebrations, Paula and I have mostly been attending a lot of medical appointments and trying to adjust to a new pattern and pace of life. And I’ve been getting as much rest as possible.
