Collision!

This wee guy battered into a window of our house this morning.
Very hard.
I thought he had smashed the window.
I ran out and he was lying amongst the flowers badly stunned with his wings spread.
I picked him up and checked his wings - no obvious damage.
I then sat him on the grass to see if he would recover........

....and he did!
It took him 20 minutes, but he hoppped off into the hedge, where I hope his parents were waiting to feed him.
Didn't see him flying, but he looked quite perky.

One of the lucky ones.
