Over the rainbow

Just about caught this rainbow as it faded whilst en route to soft play in Haltwhistle to celebrate one of Grace's friends' 6th birthday. Almost didn't make it, and in fact might not have been here right now if Grace hadn't shouted to warn me a van had come steaming round the corner on the other side of the road. I'd have walked straight into its path. It was windy out so I hadn't heard it coming. I'd dipped back into the car to get something and didn't check again before crossing. I'm always so on edge with the girls around roads and there was me making the same mistakes. Lesson learned.
We had a lovely time at soft play after all that :)
