Blue

Blue but with a bit of purple too.  A beautiful Iris in the midst of some orange poppies.   A lady I know has tried to get the orange poppies to grow but wasn't successful.  She thought the ones she had were not the same as the state flower of California.   I told her I have a bunch and had ripped out quite a few.   I found some seeds that she can plant so will get these to her in the next week.   She has a lot of lovely flowers at her house already and these will add nicely to what she already has!        I have been seeing the Rufus hummer again today.   I am thinking he's staying around a bit longer before he continues his journey North, probably into Canada.       The day turned out to be awesome with sunshine and warm temps by the afternoon.  The forecast was for clouds all day.   A pleasant surprise!!!
