Feels like March

I planted some calla lily bulbs in pots about a month ago, and these pink ones have started to bloom.

It felt more like March today rather than May. This afternoon when I was out the temperature was 7 C and that rain was cold. Heavy rain for part of the morning and I heard some thunder too. I waited till almost 11 to go out, I didn't want to get soaked going from the house to the truck.

I did join 5 of the other Photo Society members for a coffee meet. Then Canadian Tire, Walmart, the bank and Superstore. Errands are done for a couple of weeks. Paperwork is caught up, just have to email the invoices for this week. The truck is ready to go for tomorrow, more plant shopping.

It's going to be interesting getting around the city this weekend, the MacKay Bridge is closed. The last time it was closed, traffic was gridlocked both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. I guess I will travel thru Bedford tomorrow when I go to Bridgewater, and will have to travel that way too for brunch on Sunday.
