Alicante
Touristy day today. We don't often do that but Corin had wanted to have a look around Alicante.
Well worth it.
We went to the Castillo de Santa Barbara which is high on the cliff tops giving spectacular views across the sea and across the city.
We then wandered around the esplanade and stopped for a drink in one of the many cafes. Perfect for people watching.
This chap was doing a roaring trade creating portraits for people in the traditional early 1900s style using his camera and bowler hat. Seriously - the bowler hat was used to provide shade and to help waft air around to dry the prints! He was very entertaining.
