Keeling over

I attended the funeral of a former colleague of mine today. Dick was the Medical Records Officer at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey when I knew him and he had developed a range of new interests in retirement. He was 82. His son, who was just a youngster when I last saw him, is now a paleontologist at a university in New Mexico. Jason gave a lovely eulogy at the funeral which triggered a lot of.memories for me including that Dick had marshalled at motor racing events for many years. The funeral was at Kingston Crematorium. I took another former colleague with me, which meant we went on the A308 past Hampton Court. As we navigated our way around Kingston I saw these telephone kiosks keeled over when I stopped at traffic lights. I snatched a quick piccie of what I assume is a street art installation
