A beautiful sunny day

...flowers in the garden. 

A sad day for our town when an over 300 years old beech tree in the park had to be felled despite several efforts by the council, tree surgeons and arboricultural consultant to preserve it. 

It was a much loved tree - with people having associations of childhood with it (climbing) to adulthood by having wedding photos taken in it's shade.
