It's a strange name but a pretty  clematis.

An early start to the day with JJ going off to golf and then coming home again.  He thought he'd forgotten to put his shoes in the car but hadn't.  Sigh!  I got two lots of washing done, one lot on the line and the second lot I left JJ to deal with.

My friend picked me up mid morning and we went down to the Mill to meet our other close friend for beverages and toasted teacakes.  A pleasant couple of hours.  I confess I did forget to take our mutual friend's birthday card with me, so that's one all in the household.

This afternoon I've pulled up a few more daffodil leaves, those that didn't put up much of a fight.  The rest can wait.  It's turned into a reasonable day after a chilly start.

My last night of bleaching my teeth and then tomorrow I can go back to drinking and eating what I like.  That'll be a relief.
