St Columba's Cathedral - Oban

Even though I have been visiting Oban most of my life I had never stepped into this cathedral until today. I got a very pleasant surprise, it was beautiful. Not ostentatious like cathedrals usually are.  Very often I find it difficult to relax in churches and cathedrals due to the extravagance displayed in a time when so many people in society have so little.
