I really liked the light shiny through the trees at Newbattle this morning but not sure I’ve captured what I actually saw.

Went into town to have lunch with Miss PHL at a new pub round the corner from her flat. She gave me a belated birthday card which she had inscribed the message that she’s taking me to Belfast on a mutually agreed date. If I’m good she’ll pay for a return flight! I was very touched.

Home to relax before I headed out to choir. Another good practise, just as well as our performance is a week on Saturday!
