V Festival

Today Benny and I attended V Festival - the Virgin music festival. It was a hot, hot, hot day (Vancouver is having a crazy heat wave right now) and I think I may have suffered my first ever case of heat stroke! That aside, the bands were amazing....we got to see De La Soul, Jarvis Cocker (of Pulp), Metric, Sonic Youth (wow!) and Ben Harper...with his new band, Relentless 7. I've been a fan of Ben Harper since I was 17, and saw him at the Christchurch Town Hall...12 years later he's still going strong, and man can he play guitar!!
