Drove to the Recycle Centre... First in the queue... AGAIN. Thankfully opened just after 9am. Unloaded & emptied the dumpy of green waste. Next stop CK.
Mum had her breakfast, I walked Indie. I heard an unusual birdsong, Merlin app identified a Dartford Warbler. Not sure if I've heard one before.
We got organized then drove out to BT. Stopped off at Lidl's to buy compost. Picked Jan up then off to The Moorland Hotel at Haytor where we sat on the terrace in glorious sunshine & enjoyed our fish & chips. Lovely to catch up at last.
I messaged DWT. The water trough not working, the cattle standing & lying beside it.
