Nature Diary.. A delight to see.

Another beautiful sunny day but somewhat colder than recently.
No longer are Herring Gulls frequently seen in our neighborhood, for some reason unknown to me, but when they arrive they are always a delight to observe.This beauty arrived on our balcony for some crumbs which we'd scattered along it, and stayed peacefully there for quite some time. Seeming to have enjoyed the scattered crumbs he then stood looking out to sea for about 45 minutes.
After one final look around for more crumbs he soared off with a graceful stretch of his beautiful wings and carried on with his day.
A real pleasure to watch.
