Iris

One of the plants on the pond margin.  I thought I'd bought yellow flag iris*, but maybe I bought two different ones - there's another group at the other end of the pond not yet flowering.

W went out on various errands, including picking up meds from the pharmacy.  I did a little bracken pulling, but was still feeling the effects of the major weeding effort yesterday, so mainly took it easy.  

I did a little flute playing, and sorted the band music for our "summer season" - several events coming up where we play short bits, mainly outdoors.  Then out to band practice in the evening.

*Yes, I know they can be a trifle vigorous, but the pond is big enough, and needs vegetation
